How do I get started after subscribing? +
After you subscribe on the pricing page, you'll receive an email with your invite code. Go to the Login page, click the Register tab, enter your invite code, and create your account. You'll be set up in under 2 minutes.
Can I invite my team members? +
Yes! Once you're logged in, go to the Team tab in the sidebar. As the account admin you can invite team members by email. They'll receive a unique link to join your organization.
Can other companies see my data? +
No. Each company's data is completely isolated. Your contractors, payments, and reports are only visible to you and your team members. No other company can access your data.
What is the $600 threshold for 1099s? +
The IRS requires you to file a 1099-NEC for any contractor you paid $600 or more during the tax year. Midpoint automatically tracks this and flags which contractors require a form.
Can I export my data? +
Yes. Every report in the Reports section can be exported as a CSV file (for Excel) or printed as a PDF. This includes contractor lists, payment history, annual summaries, and 1099 status reports.
How do I cancel my subscription? +
You can cancel anytime through Stripe. Your access will remain active until the end of your current billing period. There are no cancellation fees or contracts.
Is my data secure? +
Yes. All data is stored in Supabase with row-level security — meaning your data is protected at the database level. Passwords are hashed and never stored in plain text. We never sell your data.
Do the 1099 forms file automatically with the IRS? +
No — Midpoint generates print-ready 1099-NEC summaries for your reference. You are responsible for filing the official forms with the IRS using approved software or a tax professional. We recommend consulting a CPA at tax time.
